Durante la noche del pasado 22 de octubre de 2025, sufrimos un robo en nuestras oficinas. Entre otras cosas, se llevaron 3 ordenadores que contenían información de nuestros clientes.
Estos ordenadores estaban protegidos con claves de alta seguridad, y en este momento, no tenemos constancia de que efectivamente se haya producido una fuga de datos personales ni de que estos datos hayan sido utilizados de forma indebida o maliciosa.
De todos modos, como medida de precaución y transparencia que adoptamos para cumplir con nuestra obligación legal, queremos informar de la posibilidad de que esa información sea desencriptada y caiga en malas manos.
Tenemos una copia en la nube de todos los datos, así que no se ha perdido ninguna información, y hemos confirmado que no ha habido ningún acceso no autorizado. Además de que estaba activada la doble verificación y hemos procedido inmediatamente a cambiar las claves.
Tampoco accedieron a ningún expediente físico, ya que se hallan encerrados bajo 3 llaves.
Hemos efectuado las correspondientes denuncia a la policía, y notificación a la Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD) en cumplimiento del RGPD.
Dado que existe una posibilidad teórica de brecha de seguridad, te ruego que extremes las precauciones durante las próximas semanas ante los siguientes riesgos:
- Aviso de Suplantación (Phishing): mantente especialmente alerta ante cualquier correo electrónico que parezca proceder de cualquier miembro del equipo de Abogados.cat o Vaello Legal, si te solicita peticiones económicas inesperadas como solicitudes urgentes de pagos, transferencias o cambios de cuentas bancarias. O bien si te solicitan información confidencial como claves personales, contraseñas, o cualquier otro dato sensible.
